Schedule of Events: 

Registration and Hotel Check in:  We will open registration about 1:00 P.M.  in the hotel lobby.  You can check in to your room after 3:00 P.M.

Welcoming Reception:  (This will be held at the Carousel site, starting about 4:00 P.M.)

As you arrive at the Farmer's Museum Carousel site, we will fete you with hors d'oeuvres and some liquid refreshment.  Welcome to Cooperstown!

Empire State Carousel Tour and Presentation: 

We will have the opportunity to tour the facility and ride on the carousel.  Gerry will make a presentation giving us some insight how this fabulous carousel came to exist and to become located in Cooperstown.

Dinner at the Otesaga:  (Dinner time will be at 7:00 P.M.)  Jackets are required for the gentlemen and proper attire for the ladies.

Dinner will be in the Fenimore Room, a private dining room, at the Inn. 
Following dinner we will have retire to the Main Ball room for a brief meeting for an update on the Refurbishing Project of the Edward Eldred Potter Memorial Room at Alumni House on the University at Albany campus.
Following the business meeting we will continue with an informal social time renewing of friendships and fellowship among our returning reunionees.  We will have usual refreshments, including beer, wine, and sodas; and a variety of snacks supplied by the hotel.

Breakfast at the Otesaga:

Breakfast will be in the main dining room at the Inn beginning at 7:00 A.M. through 10:00 A.M..

Thursday Morning:

Following breakfast you will have the opportunity to decide how you want to spend your remaining time at the Reunion.  Originally we anticipated a special all-events pass as part of the registration packet.  It turns out the pass is good for three sites, and is not substantially cheaper than the on-site cost.  Therefore we will not include this in our packet.  Instead we will provide you with details for a number of interesting venues.  You can select from the list and organize in small groups for respective tours, or go it alone.  Some are free and some have a small charge payable at the door.  Among the local attractions that will be listed are:

Our reunion will end with these tours.  You are welcome to plan lunch on your own with others before you leave for home.

What: 2007 Potter Club Alumni Reunion at Cooperstown, NY.

Program and Reception, Wednesday, Empire State Carousel (program by Gerry Holzman, 1954, creator of the carousel). Local tour venues on Wednesday on your way to Cooperstown and/or on Thursday morning. Some of these locations charge a small fee that is payable at the door. See the list below for your selections. When: Wednesday, October 10, 2007 to Thursday, October 11, 2007. Registration to begin at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday. Reception and Program at Carousel begins at 4:00 P.M. Dinner at the Otesaga at 6:30 P.M., followed by Business Meeting and Social Hour. Breakfast, Thursday at the Otesaga, followed by small group tours to venues. Lunch, both days, on your own.
