The Conversation:  Carlton shared some of his recollections of the very early days of Potter Club.  As he said, "I wasn't there when Potter Club was born, but I was there when it learned to walk!"  Tom Benenati, who accompanied Carlton from New Paltz, will continue interviewing Carlton about his recollections of Potter Club History from 1931-1935.  Paul Ward will interview Ken Doran about his recollections from 1935-1939.  We also want to get recollections from members of classes from 1940 on to add recollections to the Potter Club History.

Business:
A final financial report on the Cooperstown Reunion was presented.  Due to the late hour at which dinner ended, the intended Social Hour was not held.  This saved costs that would have been incurred for refreshments.  The Cooperstown Reunion budget will include a line item for half of the mailing cost of the June letter announcing the Reunion and the Refurbishing Project.  In addition a donation will be made to Farmers' Museum for the benefit of the Empire State Carousel and in honor of Gerry Holzman.  The Refurbishing Project final numbers were presented.  A total of 100 Pottermen donated $12,415.  (See the complete list of donors under the Reunion07 link.)
A request was made that future Reunions include two overnights, so more time would be available for socializing with old friends.  It was suggested that an evaluation form be sent to 2007 Attendees asking for additional feedback.  Watch the web site for a form.

The 2008 Reunion will be held in Canandaigua, NY on September 23-25, 2008.  See more detail at the Reunion 08 link on the Home Page.  The paint color has been chosen for the Potter Memorial Room at Alumni House, and the new furniture has been delivered.  See the new furniture on the new page for the Potter Memorial Room.  The next luncheon will be scheduled at the Potter Memorial Room if it is available.  The date for that luncheon will be in April 2008.  Watch for the specific date on the Home Page.
